ITINERARY
DAY 1, July 28, 2020 | Reykjavik
Reykjavik

Morning – Meet your tour manager at the airport and board your private bus. Start your tour with a visit to Viking World where a light breakfast awaits you.

Afternoon – At Viking World you will you will also see five exhibition museum along with a settlement zoo, a playground, an outdoor classroom and the magnificent Viking ship.

DAY 2, July 29, 2020 | Reykjavik
Reykjavik

Morning – Drive to Hellisheidi and visit the Geothermal exhibition at Hellisheidi Power Plant. Learn about the utilization of geothermal energy in Iceland.

Then continue to Ljosafoss Power Plant to experiencing the wonder of energy and electricity.

Lunch

Afternoon – Visit the Fridheimar Greenhouse and gain an insight into the process of greenhouse horticulture.

Then continue to Gullfoss (The Golden Waterfall) and the Geysir Area with numerous hot springs, fumeroles and geysers, including the 30 meter spouting world known Strokkur; Þingvellir, a remarkable geological site and a historic site.

DAY 3, July 30, 2020 | Reykjavik

Morning – Drive to LAVA volcano & earthquake center (approx. 110 km ~ 1,5 hours). On your way you pass by the mountain range including the volcano Eyjafjallajökull, last active in 2010.

Then continue to the spectacular waterfalls of Seljalandsfoss and Skógarfoss. Go past Dyrhólaey, a magnificent rocky headland with sheer cliffs.

Lunch at Vík

Afternoon – Head to the sea shore and see the famous Reynisdrangar rocks - 66 meters above sea level at their highest. On the way back to Reykjavik stop at the Solheimajokull glacier.

DAY 4, July 31, 2020 | Reykjavik

Morning – Full day at Reykjavik – pass by the Church of Hallgrimur then continue to The Settlement Exhibition.

Lunch

Then stop at the Perlan Museum with interactive exhibitions about earthquakes, volcanoes, oceanic wonders and glaciers.

DAY 5, August 01, 2020 | Reykjavik

Full day whale watching - venture out on the sea to see the whales and wildlife of Reykjavik. The whales are most abundant in summer, giving you a great chance to enjoy and understand them in their natural environment while they are feeding on fish and krill near the beautiful Icelandic shores.

DAY 6, August 02, 2020 | Deildartunguhver

Morning – Drive to Borgarnes and the surrounding Borgarfjörður region – setting for many of the Icelandic sagas. Visit the historical site “Reykholt” and see Hraunfossar also known as Lava Waterfalls.

Afternoon – Continue to Deildartunguhver, Europe’s most powerful hot spring

DAY 7, August 03, 2020 | Reykjavik

Full day Puffin watching – take the boat to the rocky shores and learn interesting facts and tales about the puffins and the surroundings.

DAY 8, August 04, 2020 | Blue Lagoon
Blue Lagoon

Morning –Check out and load the coach with your luggage. Make sure you pack a light bag with swimming clothes as you will go to the Blue Lagoon, a unique formation; a lagoon with pleasantly warm mineral-rich geothermal water in a middle of a black lava field.

Afternoon – Continue to the airport and take your flight back home
