A sense of humor is part of the art of leadership, of getting along with people, of getting things done.

- Dwight D. Eisenhower

Brian shared his story at the 2013 Global Youth Forum.

Age: 16

Hometown: Cairo, Egypt

My favorite hobbies are: photography and programming.

In 10 years, I hope to be: a computer or biotech engineer.

If I were an animal, I would be: an elephant - not just because of its size, but also because an elephant is capable of unbelievable tenderness and emotion - especially when it comes to family.

I think PTPI is important because: a peaceful place can only be made possible through cultural exchange and strengthening the relations between countries; peace education cannot be the work of one country alone.

The best moment at the 2013 Global Youth Forum was: presenting in front of all the GYF delegates about Egyptian culture.

Thank you for your ongoing support for our mission at People to People International. We, as a whole, continue to strive to live up to the legacy of world peace. But every day we make a choice to make a difference. That difference cannot be made without you and your contributions. Only together can we create everlasting peace and only together can we strive for and achieve greatness.

Merrill Eisenhower Atwater joined People to People International as the Chief Operating Officer in January 2018 and in April of that same year, he became Chief Executive Officer.
