The Eisenhower Distinguished Service Award is the second highest award bestowed by People to People International. The award may be presented to an individual or organization that has made a great contribution to humankind on a national or international level, reflecting the Eisenhower People to People concept for more than three years.
- No more than three recipients of the Eisenhower Distinguished Service Award may be selected in any one calendar year.
- Nominations may be submitted by members of the Board of Trustees, Council Chairpersons, or Chapter Presidents. The nomination must include a description of how the nominee meets the criteria for this award, along with biographical information about the nominee.
- Nominations for the Eisenhower Distinguished Service Award must be received at PTPI World Headquarters by April 1.
