PTPI is looking forward to starting 2015 with the 27th Global Book Club selection – 10% Happier: How I Tamed the Voice in My Head, Reduced Stress Without Losing My Edge, and Found Self-Help That Actually Works – A True Story by Dan Harris.
PTPI's Global Book Club - January Selection
The beginning of a new year is a time when many people seek to make positive changes in their lives, and Dan Harris presents a suggestion for how to do so in a way that is both informative and entertaining. Harris’ career as a correspondent for ABC News – during which he once had a panic attack on air – provided the opportunity to interview a wide variety of individuals involved in spirituality and self-help, and he eventually came to his own conclusions based on all that he had researched, learned, and tested.
Liz Wegman, Director of PTPI’s Global Chapter Network, will serve as the staff reader for this book. She has long wondered how to tame the voice in her head and therefore looks forward to seeing what Mr. Harris has to offer in terms of a way to do so.
